Meet JoJo.

I am a thirty-three-year-old dreamer, born in a passionate Italian household that fell in love with Cinema Paradiso at too young of an age. My father facilitated my first exposure to motivational films and sports films, my grandmother encouraged the viewing of Italian cinema, and some important people in my life along the way showed me the rest.

If one day Adnan Virk sees this, I hope he knows how wonderful his Cinephile podcast truly was and how incredible of a man he is. Without him, this does not exist.

JoJo's Film Room was built on a simple idea: talking about movies should feel like sitting with a friend who has seen everything, and never makes you feel bad for not having seen it. Every film term gets explained. Every episode recommends a classic. Nobody gets talked down to.

Why a Visual Deck?

Because film is a visual art, and a podcast shouldn't make you imagine every frame alone. Each episode comes with a designed deck of original diagrams, shot lists and cards, so you can follow along like a film class, even with the sound off.

Why "Film Room"?

In sport, the film room is where you study the tape: every play, frame by frame, until you see what everyone else missed. That's what we do with cinema.
